In this work Marikasi has superimposed a portion of her tapestry on the painting as if to frame the face. The face has been treated with ink to create an almost photographic quality. To Marikasi the face in the frame signifies someone saying goodby, someone who, "obviously does not want to leave, but is being forced to leave"
